$1 Million Powerball Prize from Neosho Still Unclaimed

Is someone in Newton County a Lottery-made millionaire? It’s been more than two months since a Missouri Lottery player won $1 million from a ticket purchased in Neosho for the April 11 Powerball drawing, but so far no one has stepped forward to claim the prize.

The ticket, which was purchased at Kum & Go, 16140 Highway 59, matched all five white-ball numbers drawn:  1, 12, 32, 42 and 58.

“If you’ve played Powerball at this Kum & Go in Neosho, we encourage you to go ahead and check any tickets you may have saved to see if you’re holding a winner,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery.

Powerball winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Oct. 8 to present the winning ticket.
