QuikTrip Celebrates $846,000 Contribution to Education

Congratulations are in order for QuikTrip, 2105 N. Highway 67 in St. Louis, for being inducted into the Missouri Lottery’s Million Dollar Club for the third consecutive year. The group, which consists of 28 Missouri Lottery retailers, honors retailers that sold more than $1 million in Lottery products in 2014. To celebrate this distinct achievement, the Missouri Lottery hosted a customer appreciation event at the store on May 19.
“The real winner is public education,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “In the three years that they have been members of the Club, this QuikTrip has generated more than $846,000 to public education. We couldn’t be more proud of their achievements.”
Reardon explained that the Million Dollar Club is a way to honor retail locations that are going above and beyond to raise money for a variety of education programs in Missouri, including A+ Scholarships, Virtual Schools, Special Education Excess Costs, Access Missouri, the Classroom Trust Fund, library acquisitions and educational scholarships.
“The customer appreciation event is our way to both celebrate the store’s success and reward their customers by awarding prizes,” Reardon concluded.
