KC Winner of $1 Million Mega Millions Prize Remains a Mystery

The owner of a ticket that matched all five white-ball numbers in the March 24 Mega Millions drawing has yet to come forward, and the $1 million prize remains unclaimed. The ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 601 NW 68th St. in Kansas City, with a winning number combination of 2, 23, 32, 45 and 55.

“Who knows? You might be the lucky player who is walking around with a $1 million prize in your wallet and you don’t even know it yet,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “So now is the time to check those old tickets and check them carefully.”

Mega Millions winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.  In this case, the winner has until Sept. 20 to present the winning ticket.

The Missouri Lottery’s Kansas City office is located at 3630 Arrowhead Ave. in Independence, and other offices are located in Jefferson City, Springfield and St. Louis.
