A Missouri Lottery player has won a life-changing prize playing Lucky for Life™ in last night’s drawing.  Lottery records show a ticket sold at Mini Market, 16 S. Highway 47 in Hawk Point, matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the game’s second-tier prize:  $25,000 a year for life!

“We are thrilled to have our first ‘for life’ big prize winner here in Missouri,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “Check your tickets for the winning number combination of 1, 18, 22, 37 and 40, and if you are holding the winning ticket, sign the back and keep it in a safe place until you can bring it to a Lottery office to claim your prize.”

The new $2 Draw Game, which started on Jan. 27, is a multi-state game that is sold in 14 states:  Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Vermont. Drawings are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:38 p.m.

To play, players select five numbers from 1 to 48, and then choose one “Lucky Ball” number between 1 and 18. They may also select Quick Pick to have the terminal pick the numbers for them. Players can win 10 prizes ranging from $3 to $1,000 a day for life.

Players have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim a Lucky for Life prize, which in this case would be Sept. 12, 2015.
