A physical therapist from Geneseo, Ill., who is contracted to do work in Marshall, uncovered a $100,000 prize recently on a Missouri Lottery “$100 Million Cash Bonanza” Scratchers ticket. Mary Estrada, 57, said she usually buys a Powerball ticket when she stops at Marshall Fireworks, Highway 65 and I-70, in Marshall.

“I buy $20 tickets every once in a while,” she said.

While buying a Powerball ticket for the huge jackpot on Feb. 11, she also bought one $20 ticket, which turned out to be a big winner.

Estrada said she and her husband, Curtis, who is also a physical therapist, plan to use the prize money to get out of debt and put some away for retirement.

“We need a new fifth-wheel trailer; we were in the process of looking,” she said. “Now, I’ll be able to get the one I want.”

“$100 Million Cash Bonanza” is a $20 game that officially began Aug. 4, 2014. The game features a top prize of $4 million. More than $92 million in prizes, including all the top prizes, remain in the game. Track prizes remaining for any Missouri Lottery Scratchers game at MOLottery.com.
