Three Missouri Powerball players are newly minted millionaires from the last night’s $500 million jackpot drawing. Those players matched all five white-ball numbers – 11-13-25-39-54 – but not the Powerball to win the $1 million second-level prize. The three winning tickets were sold at:  Gas Mart II, 902 S. Broadway in St. Louis; Spanky’s Sports Bar, 5230 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Raytown; and Warrenton Fast Lane, 1010 N. Highway 47 in Warrenton.

Another 10 players matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win the third-level $10,000 prize. Those tickets were sold at:

1. Hy-Vee, 207 N.E. Englewood Road, Kansas City
2. QuikTrip, 4005 S. Little Blue Pkwy., Independence
3. Casey’s General Store, 949 South Grant Ave., Springfield
4. Bubbles Liquors, 3717 S. Noland Road, Independence
5. Break Time, 1300 E. Main St., Linn
6. Temp Stop, 1101 NE Rice Road, Lee’s Summit
7. Cig-Liq Outlet, 10201 S. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann
8. Casey’s General Store, 410 Miller Road, Willard
9. Speedy Convenience, 4007 Frederick Ave., St. Joseph
10. Petro Mart, 698 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., Fenton

“Players in Missouri won more than $3.6 million last night, so they should check their tickets closely,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery.

Reardon noted that not only did ticket purchasers in Missouri win big, but so did public education.

“Education will receive approximately $7.6 million from this Powerball run alone,” she said. “Thanks to all the players for helping us play it forward for Missouri education.”
Missouri Powerball players have 180 days from the drawing to claim their winning tickets, which, in this case, is Aug. 10.

Three tickets matched all six numbers to share the half a billion jackpot.  They were sold in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas.
