INDEPENDENCE MAN WINS $10,000 PLAYING CLUB KENO

Story Photo An Independence auto repairman won $10,000 playing "Club Keno" on Friday night. Kenneth "Ken" Wrinkle, 49, said he won the big prize on the third game that he played while at Fat Chance Bar & Grill, 2560 S. 291 Highway in Independence. He played $2 on a 10-spot game and matched nine numbers to win $10,000. He selected his lucky numbers at random. "I played (keno) in Vegas a couple of times," he said. "I’m happy to see the game come here." Wrinkle said he plans to use some of his winnings to pay orthodontist fees for two of his children and invest some for his children’s college education. "Club Keno" began on May 28. Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing.
