SARCOXIE STORE SELLS SECOND BIG WINNER

Story Photo For the second time in less than a month, Star Pump & Pantry in Sarcoxie has sold a winning Missouri Lottery ticket worth thousands. On June 8, James "J.T." Roberson, 30, won $30,000 on a "One-Eyed Jack" Scratchers ticket he purchased there. On May 18, Mike Deloney won a $100,000 Powerball prize with a ticket he purchased at Star Pump & Pantry. Roberson, who stopped in Star Pump & Pantry for a "pop" after mowing the grass Saturday, said he plans to use the money to buy a new vehicle, make a donation to his church and use what is left to pay down some of his home loan. "One-Eyed Jack" is the 389th Scratchers game offered by the Missouri Lottery. The $2 game officially went on sale Dec. 5, 2001.
