CRESTWOOD MAN WINS $100,000

Story Photo A 48-year-old Crestwood man added $100,000 to his bottom line after matching all five white-ball numbers in the Jan. 19 Powerball drawing. Thomas Young, a purchasing agent for a railroad company, said he and his wife, Marian, plan to use the money for their three sons’ education, to take a trip and to pay bills. Young purchased the winning ticket at QuikTrip, 9951 Big Bend Blvd. in Oakland. He let the computer chose the numbers on his winning ticket. Those numbers were: 21, 23, 35, 41 and 49. To date, 577 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
