LOTTERY PROMOTION FEATURES ELVIS
Missouri Lottery players will be "all shook up" this summer from playing the Lottery’s three new Scratchers games and entering the new "Viva Las Luckytown" summer promotion. By collecting game pieces from three Scratchers games, including one called Elvis, players will have the chance to win eight different prizes -- 2,002 in all -- including 2002 Ford Thunderbirds, trips to Hawaii and Graceland, and Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets. The promotion begins June 8.
"We have a lot of players who also are big fans of Elvis," said Jennifer Kempker, promotions manager for the Missouri Lottery. "Out of the eight different prizes in the promotion, at least one of them is bound to appeal to each of our players."
The 2,002 prizes offered are:
-- 3 - 2002 Ford Thunderbirds;
-- 15 - Trips for two to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, and $1,000 cash;
-- 10 - Trips for two to Graceland in Memphis, Tenn.;
-- 50 - Gateway 700X computer systems;
-- 75 - Premium brand 61-inch projection televisions;
-- 100 - $1,000 cash prizes;
-- 870 - Elvis prize packages;
-- 879 - 50 $1 Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets.
For a chance to win, players collect game pieces that can be found on three promotion-specific Scratchers games, which also start June 8. "Quick Cash" is a $1 game, "Red Hot Money" is a $2 game, and "Elvis" is a $3 game. Each game ticket has a perforated "scratch-off" game piece to affix to the game board for a chance to win prizes.
Prizes can be claimed by filling out the claim form found attached to the game board and taking the claim form, game board and winning pieces to any Missouri Lottery office or by mailing them to the Lottery.
Visit the Missouri Lottery’s Web site at www.molottery.com after June 7 for more information about the "Viva Las Luckytown" promotion.
