SARCOXIE MAN WINS $100,000 POWERBALL PRIZE

Story Photo A Sarcoxie man is $100,000 richer after matching all five white-ball numbers in the May 18 Powerball drawing. Michael "Mike" Deloney, 48, said he plans to use his prize money to buy some land and a trailer for himself and his three children. Deloney, who works as a shipping clerk for Butterball Turkey in Carthage, purchased his winning ticket the night of the drawing at Star Pump & Pantry in Sarcoxie. He let the computer pick the winning combination. Those numbers were: 2, 18, 25, 31 and 32. To date, 588 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the $100,000 prize.
