A Grandview waitress knows the meaning of the word "wait" when she waited one week to claim her Missouri Lotto jackpot worth $1.8 million. On May 2, Myrer Crutcher, 43, claimed the $1.8 million Lotto jackpot from the April 24 drawing. "I am going to put it in the bank," she told Lottery officials when she claimed her prize. Crutcher selected the winning combination by using her and her five children’s birthdays. The winning numbers drawn were: 1, 8, 10, 14, 19 and 27. She bought her winning ticket at Lakeview Market & Deli, 7803 Highgrove Road in Grandview. This isn’t the first time Crutcher has won a large Missouri Lottery prize with a ticket she bought at Lakeview Market & Deli. On Jan. 6, 1999, she won $25,000 tax paid in the Lottery’s SHOW ME 5 game with a ticket she bought there. In addition to Crutcher’s prize, Lakeview Market & Deli will receive a check for $18,000 ? an amount equal to 1 percent of the jackpot ? for selling the winning Lotto ticket. To date, 175 jackpot tickets worth $1 million or more have been sold since the Missouri Lottery began 16 years ago. Of those tickets, 128 were Lotto tickets.
