$13.4 MILLION TRANSFERRED TO EDUCATION

The Missouri Lottery transferred $13.4 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education programs today. The April monthly transfer of $13,467,490 is based on March sales. This transfer brings the total revenues to education during fiscal year 2002 to more than $135 million, and the total proceeds to the state, including education, since the Lottery began in 1986 to more than $1.79 billion.
