First Top Prize Won in New Lottery Game

A Brookfield woman is $50,000 richer after claiming the first top prize in one of the newest Scratchers games offered by the Missouri Lottery. Christian Wattenbarger, 25, claimed her prize on Dec. 12 at the Lottery’s headquarters after she purchased her winning “Crossword Time!” Scratchers game at Casey’s General Store, 401 S. Main St., in Brookfield.
Crossword Time!” is a $3 Scratchers game that was officially introduced on Nov. 24. The crossword-themed game, which awards prizes for matching three or more words in the crossword puzzle, offers more than $10 million in prizes.
