The Missouri Lottery transferred more than $21 million in profits to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The December monthly transfer of $21,088,877 is based on Lottery tickets sales in November, and it brings the total for fiscal year 2015 to $125.3 million.
Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.9 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY15 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Four Games Set to Expire in Next Few Months
Prizes in four Scratchers games expire in the next few months. They are:
Game 941, “Bingo Bucks,” – expires Jan. 12;
Game 002, “Bonus Crossword,” – expires Jan. 12;
Game 014, “Powerball/Mega Millions,” – expires Jan. 21;
Game 936, “Cadillac Riches,” – expires Feb. 23.
Players must be 18 years or older to purchase Missouri Lottery tickets.
