Rogersville Man Wins $250K Triple Play

Dedication to playing the Missouri Lottery every week paid off for one Rogersville man. Davey Peachy, 58, won the top prize of $250,000 playing $250K Triple Play. Peachy bought the winning Quick Pick ticket at Kum & Go, 4996 S. State Highway 125, in Rogersville.

“Every Wednesday and Friday, I buy tickets,” he began. “Powerball, Mega Millions, $250K Triple Play and Lotto.”

He matched the four winning numbers in the Nov. 19 $250K Triple Play drawing to win the $250,000 prize. The winning numbers were:  10, 16, 30 and 38.

“It’s just the idea that there are three or four different ways you can win on it,” said Peachy, about $250K Triple Play. “I’ve hit for smaller wins on that a couple of times.”

He found out he was a winner a few days after the drawing.

“I scanned it after I got back into town today at the Kum & Go,” said Peachy. “I had to scan it three times just to make sure, and then I let the cashier scan it. He said, ‘Man. You better go to the (Lottery) office.’”

He didn’t have many plans beyond “pay bills.” But Peachy admitted that a “wedding excursion” to Las Vegas was in the works and that he also had his eye on a Dodge Challenger.

“I was mentioning to the barber that one of those new Dodge Hellcats would be nice,” he recalled.

The win is a nice cushion for the truck driver, who said he’ll continue to play for another big prize.

$250K Triple Play is a twice-weekly Draw Game with drawings on Wednesday and Saturday. Players can win up to $250,000 in every drawing. Peachy is the ninth top-prize winner since the game began.
