MARSHALL WOMAN UNCOVERS $100,000 IN SCRATCHERS GAME

Story Photo A 37-year-old Marshall woman can pay off her house and car loans after she uncovered a $100,000 prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Bank Vault" Scratchers game. Loreen Jacobs said she bought three "Bank Vault" tickets and three "Ten Grand" tickets when she stopped in Bee Line Snack Shop, 881 W. Boyd St. in Marshall, for gasoline on Tuesday. When she scratched them off in her car, she started shaking. "It was the second ticket I scratched off," she said. In addition to paying her house and car loans, Jacobs and her husband, Charles, also plan to help Loreen’s brother and sister. "They help me a lot," she said. "Bank Vault" is the 329th Scratchers game offered by the Missouri Lottery. The $3 game officially went on sale Nov. 22, 2000.
