A St. Louis man turned a night of Monday Night Football into a huge payday thanks to the Missouri Lottery. Ryan Patton, 36, decided to play Club Keno while watching the football game at JP’s Corner Bar & Grill, 11890 Gravois Road, in St. Louis. Patton said he picked a few numbers with the help of patrons and matched all seven spots with Bulls-Eye to win $62,675.

The real estate agent said he doesn’t play often, but the opportunity to play while enjoying football on TV was a good combination. Even better was the winning combination he picked.

“I just play for fun periodically, when I’m out at a restaurant or something,” he explained. “I was just sitting next to few people, so I had them pick a few numbers, and I picked a few, and the bartender picked a few.”

Patton didn’t have grand plans for the windfall beyond paying a few bills and putting the rest into savings.

“Obviously, it can happen to anybody. You never really know,” he concluded. “Gives you something to do and you certainly have a chance to win.”

Club Keno is a daily Draw Game with drawings every four minutes. Players have the option of picking between one and 10 numbers, also called “spots,” and the number of matches determines how much they win. Players who match a Bulls-Eye number selected during the drawing win larger prizes. Club Keno is available at any Missouri Lottery retail location as Keno To Go.
