A Sikeston woman said she “ran all over the house,” showing her kids the $25,000 winning Missouri Lottery ticket she uncovered in bed. Detria Golden, 37, said she had retired for the evening when she started scratching the “10X Cash” Scratchers ticket she purchased earlier. When she discovered she won the top prize, she jumped out of bed and began to celebrate.

“Whew, I almost passed out,” said Golden, describing the moment.

Golden purchased the $2 ticket on Sept. 15 at Break Time, 1302 S. Main, in Sikeston.

“I was feeling lucky,” she explained. “I enjoy playing it.”

The certified nurses assistant at a local nursing home said she’ll continue to work.

“I’m still going to go to work and everything,” she declared. “Fix my house up and get me a car and my son a car. We’re going to enjoy this money.”

With her transportation needs satisfied, Golden told others to stay in the game.

“Keep playing. You’ll win one day,” she said.

10X The Cash” is a $2 game that officially began Dec. 30, 2013. More than $9 million in prizes, including four top prizes, remain in the game.
