The most recent Missouri Lottery Show Me Cash jackpot winner is calling the win “a blessing.”  Robert Keats of Grain Valley bought his $178,000 Show Me Cash ticket from Patricia’s Foods, 201 SW Eagles Pkwy., in Grain Valley. Keats used Quick Pick to correctly match all five numbers drawn in the Aug. 30 drawing:   9, 12, 22, 38 and 39.
Keats and his wife, Allison, were both reserved and humbled by the news.
“I didn’t say anything, because I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high,” he started. “I knew what it said, but I wanted to make sure.”
“She got a tear in her eye; she couldn’t believe it,” Keats said, referring to his wife’s reaction. “We don’t owe much left on our house, and we have been wanting to pay it off,” he continued.
Keats, a union carpenter, just recently returned to work a few months ago after an injury to his ankle and believed that this win nothing short of a blessing. He concluded that he will definitely continue to play the Missouri Lottery.
Show Me Cash” is a daily Draw Game with a jackpot that starts at $50,000 and grows until someone wins. Keats is the 326th jackpot winner since Show Me Cash was introduced in 2008. In the past year, more than $9 million in jackpots have been awarded, with an average jackpot size of $172,000. Search all numbers and jackpot amounts at MOLottery.com.
