Lottery Sends $20.1 Million in Proceeds to Education

The Missouri Lottery today sent $20.1 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The monthly transfer of $20,136,891 is based on Lottery tickets sales in August, and it brings the total for fiscal year 2015 to $60.8 million.

Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.9 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY15 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.                                                                                           Three Scratchers Expire in Next Two Months

Redemption for prizes in three Scratchers games will end in the next two months. The games and expiration dates are:

• Game 752, “Mega MONOPOLY,” – expires Sept. 22;
• Game 939, “St. Louis Rams,” – expires Oct. 6; and
• Game 876, “Black Pearls,” – expires Oct. 20.
