LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT FROM CHESTERFIELD WINS $100,000 IN POWERBALL

A landscape architect from Chesterfield is $100,000 richer after matching all five white-ball numbers in the Aug. 18 Powerball drawing. Robert "Bob" Brandon, 51, said he plans to use the money to help pay for his three children’s college educations. Brandon purchased his winning ticket when he was grocery shopping at Schnucks Market, 1060 Wood Mill Plaza in St. Louis. He let the computer generate the combination on his winning ticket. Those numbers were: 3, 14, 20, 22 and 48. The Missouri Lottery has awarded 557 $100,000 prizes to Missouri Powerball players since the game began in 1992.
