Free Lottery Ticket Affords $10,000 Win for Springfield Man

Free is good. But sometimes free is great. Just ask Martin Bauer of Springfield, who scored a free $250K Triple Play ticket that turned into a $10,000 payday. Bauer received the free ticket when he purchased a Big MO Combo at Kum & Go, 2744 E. Chestnut Expressway, in Springfield. The numbers drawn on July 19 matched all four numbers in Game 2 on that free ticket, delivering a cash prize of $10,000.

The Big MO Combo gives players $12 worth of Draw Games tickets for just $10:  a Powerball ticket with two plays ($4); a Mega Millions ticket with two plays ($2); a Lotto ticket with four plays ($2); a Show Me Cash ticket with two plays ($2); and a free $250K Triple Play ticket with one play and nine chances to win. All tickets are Quick Pick tickets for the next available drawing.

The current promotion runs through July 31.  The Lottery will soon announce future Big MO Combo promotions, which will allow players to sample additional Draw Games.
