A Missouri Lottery player who bought a Powerball ticket in Moline Acres has won a $1 million prize after matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in Saturday’s drawing. The win marks the 10th time a Missouri player has won the $1 million Match 5 prize within the past year.
The latest Match 5 ticket was purchased at Shop ‘n Save, 9521 Lewis and Clark Blvd. in Moline Acres, for the May 31 drawing. The winning number combination was 15, 27, 31, 34 and 48.
“If you’re holding this lucky ticket, please sign the back of it immediately,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “Then be sure to keep it in a safe place until you are ready to claim your prize at one of our Lottery offices.”
Reardon also noted that all players should check their tickets closely.
“There are nine ways to win a Powerball prize, so even if you didn’t win a million dollars this weekend, your ticket could still be a winner,” she said.
Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winners have until Nov. 27. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield and Kansas City.
This Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $192 million.
