ST. LOUIS COUPLE CLAIM $2 MILLION LOTTO PRIZE

A St. Louis couple claimed the Aug. 11 Missouri Lottery Lotto jackpot worth $2 million. David and Karen Kovac (63116*) claimed their prize Monday. They purchased their winning ticket at Telegraph Gas & Food in Lemay. The Kovacs used "Quick Pick" to select their lucky numbers. The winning numbers were: 2, 7, 9, 21, 35 and 42. In addition to the Kovacs’win, Telegraph Gas & Food will receive a check for $20,000, an amount equal to 1 percent of their prize, for selling the winning ticket. To date, 170 jackpot tickets worth $1 million or more have been sold since the Missouri Lottery began nearly 15 years ago. Of those tickets, 123 were sold through the Lotto game.
