Lottery Sends $25.2 Million to Public Education Fund

The Missouri Lottery transferred more than $25.2 million to public education from proceeds generated by Missouri Lottery ticket sales in March. The monthly transfer totaled $25,249,406, and it brings the amount sent to education during the current fiscal year to more than $225 million.

Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.8 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY14 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.                                                                            15 Scratchers Set to Expire in Next Three Months

Fifteen Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire in the next three months. The games are:

• Game 891, “Smokin’ Hot Cash,” – expires April 28;
• Game 917, “Cash To Go,” – expires April 28;
• Game 646, “$250,000 Mega Cash,” – expires May 12;
• Game 874, “Triple Winning 7s,” – expires May 12;
• Game 886, “Power 8s,” – expires May 12;
• Game 884, “$25,000 Safe Cracker,” – expires June 2;
• Game 919, “Bingo Multiplier,” – expires June 2;
• Game 922, “$100,000 Crossword Doubler,” – expires June 9;
• Game 925, “Fast $100s,” – expires June 9;
• Game 928, “$50,000 Crossword Extra,” – expires June 9;
• Game 895, “MONOPOLY™,” – expires June 16;
• Game 907, “Golden 7s,” – expires June 16;
• Game 908, “Wild $25s,” – expires June 16;
• Game 918, “Harley-Davidson®,” – expires June 16; and
• Game 943, “Ghostbusters™,” – expires June 30.
