It’s only been three week weeks since the first drawing of the Missouri Lottery’s new $250K Triple Play Draw Game, and there have already been three top-prize winning tickets sold worth a cool quarter of a million dollars each. The most recent winners are long-time friends and roommates: Nancy Reed, 48, and Gary Farris, 62, both of Springfield.
Reed and Farris used Quick Pick to match all four numbers drawn on March 12. The winning numbers were: 45, 50, 52 and 57. The winning ticket was sold at Kum & Go, 3352 E. Sunshine St., in Springfield.
$250K Triple Play includes three separate games with nine chances to win on a single ticket and a top prize of $250,000 cash, as well as smaller prizes for matching two or three numbers. Players can win up to $250,000 on Game 1, up to $10,000 on Game 2 and up to $5,000 on Game 3. The overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 6.18. The game costs $2 to play, and drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:59 p.m.
