One lucky Missouri Lottery player spent a few dollars for a chance at winning thousands and came out $50,000 ahead on March 10. Jackson County resident Juanda Maxwell not only won her money back, but she managed to secure an extra $50,000 in the process, for a total win of $50,003.
Maxwell, 48, won the third of six top prizes available in “Bingo Bucks,” a $3 game that started on Sept. 30. The first-time Lottery winner bought the ticket at Snack Shop, 10507 E. 23rd St., in Independence.
