The winners are piling up fast for the newest Missouri Lottery Draw Game. In less than three weeks’ time, the Lottery’s new $250K Triple Play game has produced its third $250,000 top-prize winner. The winning ticket from last night’s drawing was sold at Kum & Go, 3352 E. Sunshine St., in Springfield.
Since the first drawing was held on Feb. 26, five players have also won the $10,000 second prize, and six more have scored $5,000 third-prize wins.
The new $2 game includes three separate games with nine chances to win on a single ticket and a top prize of $250,000 cash. Players can win up to $250,000 on Game 1, up to $10,000 on Game 2 and up to $5,000 on Game 3. The overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 6.18.
To play, players pick four numbers from 1 to 60 for Game 1 or have the computer “Quick Pick” the numbers for them. Players will receive a total of eight more sets of “Quick Pick” numbers for Games 2 and 3. The winning numbers are drawn at 8:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, along with Missouri Lotto, Pick 3, Pick 4 and Show Me Cash. Players can buy tickets up to 15 consecutive drawings in advance.
The game also produced $250,000 winners on Feb. 26 and March 5. Those tickets were sold at At Your Convenience, 1222 Spruce St. in St. Louis, and at Bob’s E-Z Stop, 1202 N. Main St. in Nixa, respectively.
