Story Photo

While the holiday season might be a distant memory for a lot of people, one lucky Wentzville man received a $100,000 reminder on Feb. 24. Jason Czajkowski, 40, scooped up the fourth remaining top prize in the Missouri Lottery’s “Happy Holidays” Scratchers game. Czajkowski purchased the ticket at Discount Wine and Spirits, 3821 Elm St., in St. Charles.
Happy Holidays” is a $5 game that launched on Oct. 21, 2013, and closed on Feb. 26.
The Lottery has created more than 900 different instant-win Scratchers games with prizes ranging from free tickets to $5 million to merchandise prizes like automobiles and trips.
