A Brentwood woman is closing the book on the Missouri Lottery’s “$750,000 Taxes Paid” Scratchers game. Helen Schimweg, 58, claimed the final top prize available in the game on Feb. 24. The Lottery paid the taxes on the prize, so Schimweg received a check for $750,000. She bought the winning ticket at Shop ‘n Save, 10461 Manchester, in Kirkwood.

$750,000 Taxes Paid” is a $10 game that officially began May 26, 2012. While there are still prizes available in the game, since all of the top prizes have been claimed, the game will be closed to distribution.
