First Top Prize Claimed in New Lottery Game

A lucky patron at Nick’s Corner Store, 900 W. Pine St. in Poplar Bluff, has claimed a $100,000 prize on the Missouri Lottery’s recently launched “Powerball/Mega Millions” Scratchers ticket. Butler County resident Bonnie Stewart collected the first of four top prizes available in the $5 game.
Powerball/Mega Millions” provides players with the opportunity to win up to 20 times on a single ticket. In addition to thousands of prizes ranging from $5 to $100,000, players can also win free Powerball and Mega Millions tickets. The game officially started on Feb. 3.
