The Missouri Lottery’s new $250K Triple Play Draw Game took no time to produce big winners, after one $250,000 winner and two $10,000 winners were determined in the first drawing Feb. 26. In addition, 261 players won $30 and 10,382 players won $2.
“This is great news for our players,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “The game is performing just as we planned, making several big winners.”
The $250,000 winning ticket was sold at the At Your Convenience store, located at 1222 Spruce St. in St. Louis. The two $10,000 winning tickets were sold at Mobil On The Run, 1111 Main St. in Imperial, and Dierbergs, 860 Arnold Commons Drive in Arnold.
Sales for the new Draw Game started Feb. 23. The new $2 game includes three separate games with nine chances to win on a single ticket and a top prize of $250,000 cash. Players can win up to $250,000 on Game 1, up to $10,000 on Game 2 and up to $5,000 on Game 3. The overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 6.18.
To play, players pick four numbers from 1 to 60 for Game 1 or have the computer “Quick Pick” the numbers for them. Players will receive a total of eight more sets of “Quick Pick” numbers for Games 2 and 3. The winning numbers are drawn at 8:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, along with Missouri Lotto, Pick 3 and Pick 4. Players can buy tickets up to 15 consecutive drawings in advance.
In addition to the big winners in the new $250K Triple Play game, one Missouri player won $10,000 in last night’s Powerball drawing and another player won $25,000 playing Club Keno. The winning Powerball ticket was sold at Webster Service & Wash, 3157 S. Brentwood Blvd. in St. Louis, and the Club Keno winning ticket was sold at Pulse Petroleum Company, 5003 Goodfellow Blvd., in St. Louis.
