2,001 GREAT PRIZES HIGHLIGHT SUMMER PROMOTION

Missouri Lottery players have 2,001 reasons to play the new "Lost in Luckytown" summer promotion. By collecting game pieces from three Scratchers games, players will have the chance to win nine different prizes - 2,001 in all - ranging from Ford Mustang convertibles to Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket packs. The theme of the promotion revolves around finding Lucky the dog, Luckytown’s famed Jack Russell terrier. "This should be a big hit with our players," said Jennifer Kempker, promotions manager for the Missouri Lottery. "The nine different prize levels, all geared toward summer fun, should appeal to most all of our players." The 2,001 prizes offered are: --3 - 2001 Ford Mustang GT convertibles; --75 - Trips for two to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and $500 cash; --15 - 2001 Polaris┬« SLH personal watercrafts; --35 - Premium brand 61-inch Cinema Series« high-definition big-screen televisions; --50 - Gateway┬« computer systems; --100 - $1,000 cash prizes; --100 - Hartmann┬« three-piece luggage sets; --100 - $150 American Express┬« gas cards; --1,523 - $50 Missouri Lottery Scratchers packs. For a chance to win, players collect game pieces that can be found on three promotion-specific Scratchers games, which start June 9. "Lucky the Dog" and "Lucky Gold" are $1 games that have one perforated "scratch-off" game piece. "Money, Money, Money" is a $2 game with two perforated "scratch-off" game pieces. The promotion prizes are in addition to the Scratchers games’ prize structures. "The game board is a map of Luckytown," said Kempker. "When a player finds all the game pieces from the city’s landmarks, he or she will win the top prize - a 2001 Mustang convertible." The remaining prizes can be claimed by matching three like-pieces at the bottom of the game board. Prizes can be claimed by filling out the claim form found attached to the game board and taking the claim form, game board and winning pieces to any Missouri Lottery office or by mailing them to the Lottery. Visit the Missouri Lottery’s Web site at www.molottery.com after June 9 for more information about the "Lost in Luckytown" promotion.
