A St. Louis delivery driver is looking for a truck of his own after winning a $100,000 Missouri Lottery prize. Ricky Cole, 52, made a special stop at the St. Louis Lottery office on Jan. 21 to claim the top prize on a “Big Money” Scratchers ticket. Cole was in a hurry to claim his prize and get to work.
“I’m already late for work,” he explained while filing his claim. “People are going to be wanting their food.”
He was more than happy for the diversion. A light snow was already making the commute difficult that day, and the regular player was collecting his first big win. Cole bought the $100,000 winning Scratchers ticket at Reem Gas Mart, 4901 Southwest Ave., in St. Louis. He also plays Pick 3 and Pick 4.
“I’m going to pay bills and get a new vehicle,” said Cole. “A four-wheel drive truck.”
“Big Money” is a $5 game that officially began Dec. 2, 2013. To date, more than $10 million in prizes, including three top prizes, remain in the game. Track prizes remaining for any Missouri Lottery Scratchers game here at MOLottery.com.
