Kansas City Winners Share $50,003 Prize

Two Jackson County residents split a Missouri Lottery Scratchers prize worth $50,003. Jessica Johnson, 25, of Kansas City (64120)* and Stephen Pettyjohn, 37, also of Kansas City (64128)* presented their winning “Bingo Bucks” ticket to the Lottery’s Independence office staff on Jan. 3. Both winners started the new year out with half of the prize amount – $25,001.50 before taxes.
The winning ticket was sold at Everyday Conoco, 840 N. Montgall Ave., in Kansas City.
Bingo Bucks,” a $3 game with a top prize of $50,003, officially started on Sept. 30, 2013. The game offers a multiplier feature and the chance to win up to six times on a single ticket.
