A Missouri Lottery player who buys Powerball tickets at Pittsville PDQ, 549 N.W. Highway 131 in Holden is now the Lottery’s second-largest jackpot winner. The ticket holder will receive $61.9 million for matching all six Powerball numbers in last night’s drawing. Those numbers are: 11, 12, 28, 36, 43 and the Powerball number was 9. So far, no one has come forward to claim the prize. The largest jackpot won in Missouri to date was a $69 million Powerball jackpot won by a St. Charles woman in November 1995. The winner has 60 days from the drawing to decide if he or she would like the prize in one cash payment worth $33,363,995.90 before taxes or the annuitized payment of $2,476,000 each year for the next 25 years, before taxes. If you think you hold the winning ticket, sign the back of the ticket, put it in a safe place and call the Missouri Lottery’s Kansas City regional office at (816) 795-8811. That office is located at 3630 Arrowhead Ave. in Independence, behind Independence Center. This ticket is the 19th winning Powerball jackpot ticket sold in Missouri since the game began in April 1992. Missouri is ranked second in the number of jackpot winners in the 21-member Powerball game. Saturday night’s jackpot winner will be the 166th Missouri Lottery-made millionaire since the lottery began in January 1986.
