BOURBON MAN WINS $2,544 ON GAME SHOW

A technician from Bourbon won $2,544 on the Missouri Lottery’s "Fun & Fortune" television game show, which aired this past weekend.

Randy Laskowitz, 37, competed in the show’s Nest Egg preliminary round where he won $1,544 and a seat in the $10,000 Championship round where he won an additional $1,000. Laskowitz’s cash winnings to date are $2,544. He will return next week as the champion.

Laskowitz purchased his qualifying ticket at Arro Mini Mart in Sullivan. The store received $127.20, an amount equal to 5 percent of Laskowitz’s winnings, for selling the qualifying ticket.

The other contestants and their winnings from last weekend’s show are:
--Dave Wilson, Florissant, won $8,951;
--James Willis, Hannibal, won $800 and jewelry from Kas A Designs of Jefferson City;
--Bill Wells, Park Hills, won $700;
--Terry Logsdon, St. Ann, won $700;
--Michael Lehman, St. Louis (63109)*, won $600.

Nine home partners won a total of $1,531 on the show. Kari Hafley, Hermann, won $896; Bernard Steinkamp, Centralia, won $155; Sandra Pich, Robertsville, won $100; John Yargus, Hannibal, won $80; Glen Potter, Cadet, and John Wilhelm, Branson, won $70 each; Jim Veach, Pleasant Hope, won $60; Dian Bayless, St. Peters, won $50 and Bill Bekemeier, Aurora, both won $50 each.

Six contestants and nine home partners are selected each week. To become a contestant on "Fun & Fortune," you must play the Lottery’s Scratchers game by the same name. Match any of "Your Numbers" to either of the "Fun & Fortune Numbers" to win the prize shown. If the numbers match and the prize won is a television symbol, you are automatically a contestant on the game show; if the numbers match and the prize won is an "ENTRY" prize, you can send it in for a chance for your name to be drawn as a contestant or home partner. Stage contestants could win more than $250,000 in the weekly show. *denotes zip code for coverage determination
