29 CON AGRA WORKERS SHARE $100,000

A group of 29 co-workers at Con Agra Frozen Foods in Marshall is sharing more than the workload after finding out their Powerball ticket from the Aug. 29 drawing was worth $100,000. They will each receive approximately $3,448 each before taxes. The winners are: Katherine Van Buren, Elmer Van Buren, Betty Johnson, Wilma Chess, Tammy Vandiver, Judy Fetters, Jennifer North, Edwin Haley, Kathyrn Kamery, John Stark, Carolyn Evans, Marilyn Bradley, Robert Martin, Vernice Robertson, Susan Coleman, Rena Bird, Clara Rader, Deborah Charlton, Marcia Brotherton, Elizabeth Gorrell, Teresa Morrow, Jona Mullins and Barbara Dieckhoff, all ofMarshall; Marilyn Hockaday, Dora Wright, Riley Wright and Ella Gilliland, all ofSlater; Roy Harringdon,Blackwater; and Paula Kuttlman,Brunswick. Katherine Van Buren, 45, of Marshall, spokeswoman for the group, said they have been playing the Lottery as a group for the past three years. She said they each put $1 for a Powerball play and $1 for a Lotto play in the pool each week. The winning numbers, which the group let the computer pick, were: 4, 9, 32, 35 and 49. Van Buren said she plans to use her share of the winnings to take a trip to Sidney, Australia, to visit her three grandchildren.
