Vincent Linnenbom was just following his daily ritual when he purchased a Missouri Lottery “$100,000 Casino Royale” Scratchers ticket that resulted in a $20,000 prize. The 25-year-old warehouseman was on his way to his job in Earth City when he stopped at QuikTrip, 12700 St. Charles Rock Road, in Bridgeton.

“I actually have kind of a routine where I stop at the gas station on the way to work every day and get a hot dog, an energy drink and a scratch-off ticket,” began Linnenbom. “And then when I get to work, I sit in the parking lot and scratch the ticket off.”

That’s exactly what he was doing when he uncovered the $20,000 prize.
Linnenbom said that moment was exciting.

“I jumped out of the car, ran around the parking lot and then called my wife,” he recalled. “She didn’t believe me. I had to call her two or three times. I told her I was coming home, and then when I got home and showed her the ticket, that’s when she really got excited.”

Plans for the windfall include some repairs to their house. Linnenbom said he would “save the rest of it.”

“Don’t give up,” he counseled other players.

$100,000 Casino Royale” is a $5 ticket that officially began Sept. 9. The game features a top prize of $100,000, of which, five remain in the game. Track prizes remaining for any Missouri Lottery Scratchers game here at MOLottery.com.
