Lottery Ticket Sales in September Generate $22.1 Million

More than $22.1 million was transferred to the Lottery Proceeds Fund today for public education. The monthly transfer of $22,127,866 is based on September sales, and brings the total for the fiscal year to more than $87.8 million.

Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.6 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY13 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri.                                                                 Seven Scratchers to Expire By End of Year

Seven Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire by the end of 2013. The games are:

• Game 892, “Bingo Mania,” – expires Oct. 15;
• Game 915, “Lucky Gold,” – expires Nov. 2;
• Game 849, “Red Hot and Wild 7’s,” – expires Nov. 12;
• Game 885, “7-11-21,” – expires Dec. 2;
• Game 894, “Spicy 7s,” – expires Dec. 2;
• Game 896, “Bonus Word Crossword,” – expires Dec. 2; and
• Game 887, “24K,” expires Dec. 5.
