A Dixon woman’s day took an exciting turn after uncovering an instant-win all-inclusive season ticket package to attend every St. Louis Rams home game next season as a VIP guest. Nycole Kloeppel won one of only 10 prize packages available on the Missouri Lottery’s “St. Louis Rams” Scratchers ticket on Sept. 9.
Kloeppel explained that she was traveling from her job as a respiratory therapist to her home in Pulaski County when she made a routine stop for gas at Meta Mini Mart, 500 W. Fourth St., in Meta.
“I was having a bad day,” Kloeppel revealed, adding that what happened next caught her off guard.
The 41-year-old said she occasionally plays Scratchers tickets, so she tried her luck on a “St. Louis Rams” game in hopes of turning her day around. She’d recently told a co-worker she “had a good feeling” about playing that particular game.
Her instinct led to victory when she uncovered a St. Louis Rams prize package that included:  two VIP club-level season tickets, VIP parking, food and beverage, $500 spending cash and a $100 team store gift card.
“We love football,” the 41-year-old shared, referring to herself, her husband, Doug, and their three sons. “So that’s what drew me to the ticket.”
She admitted that the she doesn’t watch the St. Louis Rams as much as the Kansas City Chiefs, but she is still “very excited” to be able to witness an entire season firsthand at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis next year.
St. Louis Rams,” a $5 game with a top prize of $75,000, officially started on Aug. 29. To date, two top prizes, seven 2014 season ticket packages and thousands of additional prizes, ranging from $5 to $10,000, remain in play.
