BALLWIN MAN WINS $100,000 POWERBALL PRIZE

A restaurateur from Ballwin is thinking about buying a new car and making some home improvements after he won $100,000 in the April 14 Powerball drawing. Gerald Wai-Ming Suen, 52, said he may also plan a trip to California or overseas with the windfall. Suen, who owns a Chinese restaurant, purchased his winning ticket at Schnucks Market, 15425 Manchester Road in Ballwin. He used some numbers he and his dad picked at random. Those numbers were: 3, 8, 16, 29 and 30. To date, 527 tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since Powerball began nine years ago.
