$22.1 Million in Lottery Proceeds Sent to Public Education


The Missouri Lottery today transferred $22.1 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The monthly transfer of $22,134,590 is based on July sales, and brings the total for the fiscal year to $39.9 million.

Since Missouri Lottery sales started in 1986, the Lottery has generated more than $4.6 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY13 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Time Running Out to Redeem Prizes

The redemption period for five Scratchers games will end in the next month.  The games are:

  • Game 867, “Electric 8s,” – expires Sept. 7;

  • Game 673, “100 Million Dollar Blockbuster,” – expires Sept. 29;

  • Game 864, “20X,” – expires Sept. 29;

  • Game 866, “Platinum Payout,” – expires Sept. 29;

  • Game 883, “$100,000 Crossword,” – expires Sept. 29.
