POTOSI MAN UNCOVERS $100,000

A store employee from Potosi recently uncovered $100,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s "Anniversary Celebration" Scratchers game. Jeffrey Fryman purchased his winning ticket at his dad’s store, Fryman 66 in Potosi, where he works. He claimed his prize on April 2. "I never expected to win a prize like that," Fryman told Lottery officials. "I have no idea what we’ll do with it." Fryman said he and his wife buy Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets occasionally. He said he bought three the day he scratched off one worth $100,000. "Anniversary Celebration" is one of two instant tickets the Missouri Lottery introduced in honor of its 15th anniversary, which was Jan. 20. It has a top prize of $100,000, the highest currently offered in a Scratchers game.
