$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Weston

One lucky Missouri Lottery player in Weston woke up to a $1 million prize today after matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in last night’s Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Trex Mart, 18310 State Route 45 North in Weston, for the July 24 drawing. The winning number combination was 9, 29, 40, 44 and 54.

“It was a big night in Missouri,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “The Weston ticket was one of two $1 million Powerball tickets last night; the other was sold at Quick Run in Marshall.”
“We want to remind these players to sign the backs of your tickets right away, and keep them in a safe place until you can come into one of our Lottery offices to claim your prize.”

Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winners have until Jan. 20, 2014. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City, Springfield and St. Louis.
