$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Marshall

Story Photo

It may not be as large as the jackpot prize won in 2010, but another lucky Powerball ticket purchased in Marshall has produced the newest Lottery-made millionaire. One ticket sold at Quick Run, Highway 65 North in Marshall, won a $1 million prize after matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in last night’s Powerball drawing. The winning number combination was 9, 29, 40, 44 and 54.

“Last night was a good night for Missouri Powerball players,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “In addition to the ticket sold in Marshall, another ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Trex Mart in Weston.”

Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winners have until Jan. 20, 2014. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Kansas City, Springfield, Jefferson City and St. Louis.
