Anyone who has ever planned a wedding or built a house might say it can cost a pretty penny. Thanks to some Missouri Lottery luck, 32-year-old Michael Duncan now has some extra cash to complete both of those tasks. The Cole County resident used Quick Pick to match all five Show Me Cash numbers drawn on July 16. The feat won him the $197,000 jackpot prize. The winning numbers were:  21, 23, 28, 31 and 35.

“It felt good to win that much,” Duncan reminisced, referring to the moment he realized financing his wedding and new home just got a lot easier.

“We’ll be building a house soon, and we’re getting married in the spring,” he added. “I’m sure it (prize) will help out with that.”

Duncan bought the winning ticket at Phillips 66, 718 W. Stadium Blvd., in Jefferson City.

Show Me Cash is a daily Draw Game with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until someone wins. Duncan won the game’s 265th jackpot prize.
