A regular Missouri Lottery player from Maryland Heights has claimed half of the Show Me Cash jackpot from July 3. Two winning tickets were sold for that evening’s drawing, and each winner will receive half of the $116,000 advertised jackpot. The winning numbers were: 14, 17, 19, 35 and 39.
Daniel McChesney said he plans to retire for the second time after winning the $58,000 prize. He bought the winning Quick Pick ticket at Quick Stop Shop, 2301 McKelvey Road, in Maryland Heights. He commented that he enjoys playing Show Me Cash because he feels it offers the best chances of winning. His only plans for the windfall were to “put it away.”
The other winning ticket for that drawing was sold at St. Joe’s General Store in Perryville, and is, as yet, unclaimed. Both stores received a $500 bonus for selling a winning jackpot ticket.
Show Me Cash is a daily Draw Game with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until someone wins. This the 262nd jackpot awarded in the game since 2008. In the last 12 months, 55 Show Me Cash jackpots have been awarded with an average amount of more than $181,000.
