One lucky Missouri Lottery player in Springfield has won a $1 million prize after matching all five white-ball numbers drawn in Saturday’s Powerball drawing. It’s the third time a $1 million Match 5 winning ticket has been sold in Missouri within the past month.

The latest winning ticket was purchased at Kum & Go, 2650 W. Sunshine in Springfield, for the July 7 drawing. The winning number combination was 2, 13, 35, 36 and 52.

“In addition to this $1 million prize, there were also two $10,000 Powerball winners in Missouri Saturday night – one in Rolla, the other in Liberty,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “We want to remind all of our players to sign the backs of your tickets right away, and keep them in a safe place until you can come into one of our Lottery offices to claim your prize.”

Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winners have until Jan. 2, 2014. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Springfield, Jefferson City, St. Louis and Kansas City.
